A city, as if made for cyclists. A close net of cycle tracks threads its way through the whole city. The cycle track net of Vienna offers something for every taste: Town center routes for holiday guests, trekking distances along the Danube or sporty challenges for mountain bikers in the nearby Viennese woods. Also families with children can pedal without worry because even the smallest are safe on the bike tracks.

You can start your city cycling trip right from the Hotel Capri. The nearby Vienna Prater is especially attractive to leisurely bikers, a first class recreation area.

Past the Folk’s Prater and its attractions such as the Great Ferris Wheel, Planetarium or miniature train, you can then pause for a picnic in the Jesuit Meadow or at the Heustadl Baths.

The Krieu Baths, a bowling alley or the waters of the Heustadl offer variation. It’s also worth a stop at the Lower Prater with the Freundenau, the race course and the Pheasant Garden.

Bikes are offered for rent throughout the city. City-bikes, trekking bikes, mountain bikes, children’s bikes or tandems may be borrowed. We will gladly recommend the best addresses.
